The Rebirth of Your Unpaid Internship Program?

Course Overview
Michael Schmidt, vice chair of the labor and employment law department at Cozen OConnor P.C., appeared on our program in 2010, when he warned our viewers that their enterprises should seriously consider paying all of their interns. Now, with the recent release of new guidance from the U.S. Department of Labor, he returns to our program to explain under what circumstances an employer may want to reward their interns with academic credits, rather than with compensation.
