Working Capital Management

Course Overview
This course familiarizes the user with the principles of managing an organization's working capital effectively. The goal of working capital management is to ensure that a firm is able to continue its operations and can satisfy both maturing short-term debt and upcoming operational expenses. The management of working capital involves managing inventories, accounts receivable and payable, and cash.

After completing this course, the course participant should be able to:

  • Identify metrics an organization can use to measure the efficiency of its working capital.
  • Determine procedures the organization can perform on the various components of working capital to make the processes around those components more efficient.
