Course Overview:
This course introduces the user to the concepts surrounding Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and its use in order to create shareholder value. The course emphasizes the use of complete, accurate, and timely information as well as the 13 critical questions that a corporate strategy is built on. Additionally, the course also discusses multi-dimensional data, the key components of CPM, and presents several case studies evidencing its successful implementation.



Learning Objectives:

After completing this section, you should be able to:
  • Recognize the percent of stock market valuation attributed to intellectual property
  • Identify the critical questions to be considered with respect to corporate strategy
  • Define what constitutes multi-dimensional data
  • Differentiate between the various components of CPM (i.e. financial planning, strategic planning, and sales & operational planning) and define the respective processes within each process
